		<description>My brother likes to fish. He told his kids that they needed to learn to like fish - and guess what, they did! He has some really great fish recipes - so everybody wins! Asking our kids to step up and get on board with the family norms is not unreasonable.</description>

		<description>I&#039;m not a foodie or a natural in the kitchen so I can&#039;t even imagine making 4 meals for one mealtime LOL!  I think this post is fantastic and really gets a good point across...set up food rules in your house and stick to them!  I think it&#039;s great that your daughter is such a great cook...I&#039;m going to share her site with my daughter...she is an aspiring cook :)

I agree with you and with Ellyn Satter who points out that if you fixate on what a child will eat/likes each day, you will literally make yourself crazy because their tastes and appetites change so often. I have watched my three-year-old twins vacillate on so many different foods, I couldn&#039;t possibly keep track or try to cook to them! 

We are all happier for choosing one dinner plan, making sure there are some options that the kids will like (noodles, bread, potatoes, milk) and leaving it at that.</description>
